Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Kaveri REFUSES to accept Abhira’s baby after learning the surrogacy truth
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan has a serious discussion with Rohit, Ruhi and Abhira about the importance of honesty. He stresses that they should not lie to their families or manipulate their emotions. However, Ruhi disagrees with this view, questioning why Armaan is so determined to reveal the truth when everyone is against it. She stresses that Vidya even believes that hiding the truth will help Abhira gain acceptance more easily.
Despite Ruhi’s arguments, Armaan remains steadfast, stating that true happiness must be built on a solid foundation. He is adamant about revealing the truth to both the families. Taking Armaan’s side, Abhira also decides to come forward about the surrogacy, believing that honesty is the best course.
Meanwhile, Sanjay plans to expose Armaan, Rohit and Abhira. He manipulates the data to get the right information and finally uncovers the truth about surrogacy.
Elsewhere, Abhir invites both the families to announce an important news. Aryan and Krish, unaware of the real reason, assume that the meeting at Armaan’s workplace is a celebratory occasion. However, Armaan quickly clarifies that he has summoned them to share an important news. Before he can announce it, Sanjay intervenes and reveals the shocking truth: Ruhi has agreed to become Abhira’s surrogate mother to burnish her noble image. This revelation leaves the Poddars and Goenkas in shock.
Kaveri gets angry at Armaan and Abhira, accusing them of being selfish and using Ruhi. She demands to know if Armaan intends to adopt Ruhi’s baby after birth. However, Ruhi stands her ground, insisting that the child belongs to Abhira.
But Kaveri remains unconvinced and turns to Rohit, asking if he still cares for Ruhi. She recalls how Armaan used to prioritize Abhira over the baby. Pushing Rohit into a difficult position, she asks him to answer what he would do if a similar crisis arose during the birth—would he save Ruhi or Abhira and Armaan’s baby? This question leaves everyone stunned, unable to respond.
Still searching for answers, Kaveri confronts Armaan, Abhira, and Rohit, demanding an explanation. She even declares that this baby will bring disaster to everyone. Unable to bear these harsh words, Abhira strongly stands up for her unborn child, asserting that the baby will bring blessings and not misfortune. However, Kaveri refuses to acknowledge or bless the child, declaring that she will never accept it. Finally, she gives a final warning that both Abhira and Ruhi will regret their decision before leaving.
As a result of this chaos, Manish and some of the family members decide to distance themselves from Abhira, refusing to talk to her. Meanwhile, Abhira broods over her actions and realises that she should have listened to Armaan in the first place. She seeks support from her husband.
Vidya is relieved that the truth has finally come out. Madhav reassures her that everything will be fine, while Kaveri, still shaken, is scared about the impact of Rohit’s prediction on the family and how it might affect the child’s future. Madhav encourages her to have a more optimistic outlook.
Elsewhere, Manish discovers that Swarna knew about the truth all along but hid it. When he confronts her, he demands an explanation. Swarna regrets that she kept this secret for so long.
