Ashley’s Reality Show Future: Why ‘De Bondgenoten’ Isn’t for Her

Ashley, the reigning queen of Big Brother from last season and one of the most talked-about contestants in the show’s history, has recently shared her thoughts on participating in another reality TV show. While fans eagerly anticipate her return to television, Ashley seems to have a clear stance on where she sees herself—or rather, where she doesn’t.

A Fan’s Question Sparks a Bold Response

During a recent Instagram Q&A, one devoted follower posed the question: “Is ‘De Bondgenoten’ not something for you? We miss seeing such a stunning woman on TV.” While some reality stars might have given a diplomatic response, Ashley took the opportunity to throw some subtle shade at the SBS6 program.

“Bondgenoten… they can’t handle me,” she responded, making it crystal clear that she has no interest in joining the show.

No Return to Big Brother Either

This isn’t the first time Ashley has ruled out a return to reality TV—at least in certain formats. She has previously stated that she has no intention of competing in Big Brother again, not even in an All-Stars edition. “New residents, new stories! That’s exactly what makes Big Brother so exciting. My season was 2024,” she remarked, emphasizing that she has moved on.

What’s Next for Ashley?

While Big Brother and De Bondgenoten are off the table, Ashley hasn’t completely closed the door on reality television. She has hinted at interest in other formats, including the adventure-packed Echte Meisjes in de Jungle (Real Girls in the Jungle). This type of high-intensity, drama-filled show might be more in line with her personality, giving fans hope that they may still see her back on screen in the near future.

For now, though, it seems Ashley is enjoying life outside the reality TV bubble. Whether she eventually makes a triumphant return or continues to focus on her personal projects, one thing is certain: wherever she goes, she will remain a hot topic of conversation.
