According to her post, the accident occurred around 3 a.m. when she got out of bed and fainted, striking the corner of a dresser. “About 3am Sunday morning I got out of bed and fainted, hitting the corner of my dresser,” DuJour wrote. “Five hours later I was stitched up, bottom lip reattached. Ugh.”
DuJour’s husband was present at the time and quickly came to her aid upon hearing the fall, ensuring she received prompt medical attention. She later posted graphic images of her injuries, showing extensive stitches on her lip and forehead.

DuJour mentioned that her blood pressure was normal and speculated that she “probably just got up too quickly from a deep sleep.”
