BEYOND THE GATES Preview Week of March 24-28: Dani Continues to Struggle, Martin is Hiding More Secrets from Smitty
Beyond the Gates is taking a two-day hiatus for the rest of this week to make room for the March Madness as the NCAA College Basketball tournament which takes over the CBS television network tomorrow on Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21st.
Today’s Wednesday, March 19th sets the stage for what’s to come with a full week of episodes beginning on Monday March 24th. From the looks of it, Dani (Karla Mosley) is quickly developing a drinking problem, Derek (Ben Gavin) is turning into a jealous obsessive boyfriend who may want to set a trap for the growing bond and attraction of his girlfriend Ashley (Jen Jacob) and Andre (Sean Freeman).
Meanwhile, in the new CBS promo for Beyond the Gates, Anita (Tamara Tunie) is expounding to her granddaughter Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) about the power of being a Dupree woman. Vernon (Clifton Davis) is on the phone insisting that someone drop everything and come talk to him now, and from the looks of it he is talking to Martin (Brandon Claybon), who is hiding things again from his husband, Smitty (Mike Manning).
Elsewhere, Tomas (Alex Alegria) urgently enters Bill’s (Timon Kyle Durrett) office while he is having an important conversation with is daughter Naomi, saying, “This can’t wait.” In addition, Eva (Ambyr Michelle) ramps up Leslie’s (Trisha Mann-Grant) plan for something to happen at a big celebration for Ted (Maurice Johnson) and Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix).

Leslie tries to help Eva; Kat hatches a scheme of her own; Martin and the family worry about Tyrell; Smitty confronts Martin; and Marcel is nice to Jacob…too nice.

Vanessa is suspicious of Doug and Joey; Leslie and Ted go head-to-head; Kat sets a trap for Eva; and Tyrell confides in Samantha.
